Copywriting Hack

Just starting out and having a hard time finding the right words to write on your website? If you don’t have the time or money to hire a copywriter, Wix has a great hack you should try. It’s called “text ideas.”

You can get text ideas in a variety of topics, tailored to your specific line of business. Once you select your site type and relevant topic, Wix generates a paragraph that you can edit as much as you need. 

Follow these steps:

• Select a text box in the Editor.

• Click Get Text Ideas.

• Select your site type by doing one of the following:

  • Use the text box to search for a category (e.g. Bakery, Design, Tax Consultation, etc.)

  • Select a category under Popular Searches. 

• Click Next.

• Select a topic from the list and click Create Text.

• Review the text options and click Use Text next to the one you want to use. Tip: You can also copy your text to clipboard if you need to use it in a different location of your site. 

• Edit the text to your liking.

Important to note. Wix smart texts are generic and do not include your business details. Before publishing any changes, make sure to personalize the text.

This is a game changer for those that can often find themselves at a loss for words.
